Our Story

A design firm named after the founder's mother and grandmother; Hester, who had exceptional taste in classic contemporary décor with subtle Parisian elegance. Her favorite past time was visiting auction house’s, vintage shops and mixing high style design with heirlooms. As a jewelry designer, known for her hand-crafted fine jewelry and hand-selected, semi-precious stones and metals; she infused her favorite colors, lavender, and French Bleu, and in honor of her, we chose the name Hestée Bleu.

Cultivated by my mother's beautiful rose gardens, appreciation for the classics, and unique antiques, inherently my love for these came naturally. From this exposure, materialized a fondness for neoclassical façade and symmetrical architecture. As someone who delights in arrangements of jewel hues and toils over creating modern sophistication and organic palettes, I believe, finding the right balance elevates everyone's mood. Perhaps that’s why I gravitate to using a mix of eras, jewel box-inspired environments, evident in my favorite things.

Founded as an architectural engineering studio in 2004. The firm was relaunched to intersect architecture + décor. Hestée Bleu, reflects on the beauty found in the classics and brings a fresh take on parallelism and incorporating heirlooms for modern living. Collectively, we embrace architecture + décor by architectural research + case study observations + sourcing unique antiques + modern bespoke classics.
