Our Story

A design firm named after their mother and grandmother; Hester, who had exceptional taste in classic contemporary décor with subtle Parisian elegance. Her favorite past time was visiting auction house’s, vintage shops and mixing high style design with heirlooms. As a jewelry designer, known to create unique handmade fine jewelry of natural stones and precious metals; she infused her favorite colors, lavender, and French Bleu, and in honor of her, we chose the name Hestée Bleu.
Founded as an architectural engineering studio in 2004. The firm was relaunched to intersect architecture + décor. Hestée Bleu, reflects on the beauty found in classical antiquity and brings a fresh take on the classics with vintage modern and design collections, incorporating heirlooms with timeless environments for modern living. In collaboration with MAE Labs enables creative research, innovation and engages parametric architecture.
​Tamelia Goodwyn, Founder & Principal is multi-talented, exceptionally creative, and innovative. She realized that her skill for technological development, computation, and imaging environments; could be useful in architecture research and investigation. Her distinctive vision and entrepreneurial passion were inspired by listening to her clients from research to incorporating scientific methods into experimental design frameworks; is to ask the right questions and create a welcoming atmosphere of openness.
Tamelia has gained years of experience within computational intelligence and optimization methodsIt was her creative and technological journey, that inspired her aesthetic approach; through simulation, form + geometry, and human- systems integration. She is no stranger to meeting challenges, with confidence and creating opportunities; however, enforced her professional endeavors in Computational Mechanics & AI Architecture. 
Goodwyn received her academic training in Industrial Technology & Engineering; Advanced Simulation and Computing; Cognitive Human Factors and Ergonomics; Master's Graduate Certificate in Mathematical Econometrics & Quantitative Risk; (Master's Degree in Laws) Corporate, Intellectual Property, and Jurisprudence Law; Graduate studies (M.Sc.) Cryptography; Professional (M.Arch) Architecture studies. Among Goodwyn’s most notable projects are High Performance Healthcare and Facilities, Digital Information Infrastructure, Military Construction (MILCON); Open Technologies AI and Ecosystems, Intelligent Transportation Systems - Autonomous Vehicle Research.

Significant Contributor:

Daree Shannon, Lead Content Editor; she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing and specialized in Screenwriting. Her extensive portfolio of published articles is utilized by different media platforms. She incorporates writing the visual narrative with character analysis. Dee uses history and film analysis of classical and contemporary screenwriting for social media and storytelling medium techniques. She finds her creative enjoyment from script to screen, film production and costume design.

Dr. Hubert Massey, Master Artist & Award-winning Kresge Fine Arts Fellow. Dr. Massey holds an Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts; studied at the University of London’s Slade Institute of Fine Arts and later learned the centuries-old fresco technique from former assistants of legendary artist Diego Rivera.
